At Knighted Detailing, our Paint Resurfacing Excellence service brings your vehicle’s paint back to life—reviving depth, gloss, and clarity for a flawless, showroom finish.
Over time, your car’s exterior battles harsh weather, improper washing, and daily wear. The result? Swirl marks, scratches, fading, dullness, and other defects that rob the paint of its brilliance.
Using precision machine polishing techniques, our specialists expertly remove surface imperfections from the clear coat—revealing rich, deep color and a mirror-like shine. In many cases, the transformation is so dramatic that vehicles appear freshly painted.
But correction is only the first step. Once perfected, we strongly recommend ceramic coatings or sealants to lock in the finish and protect it for years to come.
Common Paint Defects We Correct
Swirl Marks – Fine scratches that catch the light in spiderweb-like patterns, often caused by improper washing.
Deep Scratches – If a scratch catches your fingernail, it’s cut into the clear coat. While we can reduce visibility, complete removal usually requires repainting.
Dull Paint – Loss of shine from UV exposure, chemical damage, or heavy swirl build-up.
Bird Dropping Etching – Acidic residue from bird mess can permanently mark paint if left untreated.
Holograms – Looped polishing marks from improper machine use, often by untrained detailers.
What Results to Expect
Your car’s final look depends on its condition, paint thickness, and the correction level chosen. You can expect:
💎 Enhancement Detail A light polish to boost gloss and prep paint for ceramic coating. Does not remove defects. Best for: New or near-perfect paintwork. Duration: 3–5 hours.
Stage One Correction Single-stage polish targeting light-to-moderate swirl marks (approx. 60%+ correction). Significantly enhances clarity and shine. Best for: Minor imperfections or dull finishes. Duration: 1–2 days.
Stage Two Correction Two-step polish for enhanced refinement.
Finishing stage: Restores depth, clarity, and a deep “wet look” gloss. Best for: Showroom-quality results. Duration: 1-2 days.
Protecting Your Finish
A freshly corrected car deserves lasting protection. Ceramic coatings create a durable, invisible layer that resists UV rays, chemicals, and dirt—lasting years longer than wax for the ultimate defense.

A single-stage machine polish is carried out to refine the paint, removing approximately 60–75% of swirl marks, oxidation, light holograms, and minor wash-induced scratches—dramatically enhancing gloss, clarity, and depth.
A high-quality wax sealant is then applied, delivering a rich, glossy, and hydrophobic finish that protects and enhances the freshly corrected paint.

All of the above and;
A two-stage machine polish is performed, removing approximately 80-95% of moderate to heavy swirl marks, oxidation, holograms, and deeper wash-induced scratches
Followed by a refining polish to restore exceptional gloss, depth, and clarity to the paintwork.
A premium wax sealant is then applied, locking in the correction with a deep, reflective finish and long-lasting, hydrophobic protection.
